So.. I'm finishing my studies and am kind of freaking out over exams. Have written two quite large assignments too, but that doesn't mean Juniblest has been left on his own. Not all the time, anyway =)
After I discovered this new place I realised it wasn't too far from Burley so we've been going there quite a lot lately. It's a perfect round for us with some gravel and tarmac for Juniblest to improve his feet and lots of grass to pick up some speed! We've found a pub to which we went with Espen and if the weather improves I'm hoping to take all my friends with me and go for a proper horse/cycle ride one day.
Juniblest's top line is slowly improving, and apart from getting a bit of thrush and mud fever from the monsoon we've had the last couple of weeks his feet are unreconizable! In a good way, that is.
Foals are popping out with the flowers and Juniblest has aquired a new friend - Buster, a stallion of two years who refuses to accept that Juniblest isn't a mare in season.. They're not sharing a field as the lady who has her horses in the field next to me is terrified of him eating her horses, but I'm hoping that will change in time =)
